Hispanic Heritage Month Orange Poetry Contest
Start Date: 10/1/2019 All Day
End Date: 10/21/2019
Event Description:

Smells, tastes, textures, sounds, objects and small experiences that we often overlook play a fundamental role in creating and evoking place-based memories, memories that connect us to people, places and ourselves. One of the most powerful ways to revisit these memories is through poetry. With this in mind, writers will create poetry around the word “orange” to submit to this contest.
Would you like to participate?
Using the color ORANGE as a theme, write a poem, flash fiction, or flash essay. Poems MUST be at least 14 lines, and Flash Fiction & Flash Essays are NOT to exceed 300 words. Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Deadline to submit poems: October 18, 2019 at 4:00 PM
