MDC Events

Civic Minds is an interactive civic education event designed to increase students' understanding of government, citizenship, and the role individuals play in shaping their communities. Through engaging discussion, interactive activities, and opportunities for participation, students will explore key civic concepts, government processes, civic responsibilities, and the ways individuals can contribute to positive change. The event aims to strengthen civic knowledge, inspire community engagement, and help students develop a deeper appreciation for the impact of informed and active citizenship. For this round of Civic Minds, we'll have Mayor Eileen Higgins and her team joining us to discuss civic engagement in Miami!
