MDC Events

To champion inclusion means to have the will and skills to recognize, celebrate, and work effectively with individuals coming from all walks of life. The Disability Rights Awareness Workshop is being led by Nils Kastberg, former UNICEF director and Board Member of Special Olympics International. It is a powerful opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to build their understanding and practice of working effectively with individuals presenting different syndromes and conditions. Participants from past workshops held at MDC have raved about these sessions, so come build your inclusion muscles with this learning opportunity. This program will be an asset for any professional pathway.
