In this event, participants will examine traditional expectations of femininity and masculinity and their link to domestic violence. Additionally, participants will explore the prevalence and dynamics of domestic violence and barriers to safety and accessing services, with individuals of diverse gender and orientation identities, including the vulnerability and particular risk among transgender women of color. Participants will also receive prevention recommendations that are equitable, inclusive, and informed.
This workshop is presented in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. For more information on how to support survivors visit our website.
