Help Padrón Campus celebrate Earth Day -- and some of our Florida trees -- with an innovative display of haiku poems in our UrbanaSpace (Pine Rocklands Habitat) on campus, by the surface parking lot (corner of SW 6th Street and SW 25th Avenue).
The eco-art gallery will open on Monday, April 17th at 12pm with an award ceremony and poetry reading. Immediately after the ceremony, attendees are encouraged to join a special wellness walk / campus-clean-up with Earth Ethics Institute.
Haiku poems will be on display within UrbanaSpace until Monday, April 24th. Your tree haikus are needed to make this a successful event!
