MDC students have great power and potential to influence our community’s civic life and democracy, so how might we support them in that process? Please join iCED for a Faculty FPD CIOL workshop, Empowered to Act: iCED's Civic Action Scorecard. You will learn how to activate ANY course to guide students' civic empowerment pathway. iCED's innovative Civic Action Scorecard is an equitable, accessible, and diverse tool that guides civic empowerment actions and can easily be utilized in all disciplines and courses through the MDC Changemaker Hub. This session will allow you to explore civic actions on the 2023-24 Scorecard and plan how to integrate them into your course to support your students’ civic empowerment pathway. This virtual workshop will be offered two times via MS Teams during Changemaker Week! Option 1: Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 1:30 - 3 pm / Option 2: Wed., Sept. 20 from 2 - 3:30 pm
