Walk A Mile in My Shoes is ACCESS’ signature event for the month of October - National Disability Employment Awareness Month. This month’s theme is Disability: Part of the Equation. Experience the life of a person with a disability through hands-on activities: maneuver a wheelchair, use a white cane to move through a building, interact with a sign language interpreter, and other fun educational activities. Local authors and artists who have unique stories will be in attendance. This event is open to all staff and students!
