Growth Through Nature | Rooting Ourselves : What Helps Me Thrive

Join us for a reflective and grounding experience inspired by the wisdom of nature. In this gathering, we’ll explore what it means to put down roots, create a sense of stability, and nurture the conditions that help us truly thrive.

Through guided reflection and meaningful conversation, we’ll consider the people, practices, environments, and values that nourish us—just as roots provide strength and nourishment to a growing tree. Come pause, reconnect with yourself, and discover what helps you feel grounded, supported, and ready to grow.

Step into the garden and discover how every living thing is connected. In this hands-on outdoor activity, participants will explore the idea that, just like people, no plant grows alone. Plants depend on soil, sunlight, water, insects, microorganisms, and one another to thrive.

Using marigolds as our focus plant, participants will observe their characteristics and explore the relationships that help them grow. Through planting, discussion, and interactive activities, we will consider how cooperation, care, and connection create a healthy ecosystem.

The garden becomes our classroom as we reflect on an important lesson: growth is not an individual journey—it happens through relationships and community
