Need to use research in your speech but don’t know how to find good sources or make the research fit? Then join us at the Reading & Writing Center when we host a Keep Educating Yourself Series (KEYS) workshop on Incorporating Research into Speeches. Learn about the types of sources out there and how to identify if a source is credible or not. Learn also how to use direct quotes or paraphrases to have your research fit in smoothly in your speech. Just as important, learn how to format oral citations to identify your sources and raise your own credibility as a speaker.

This workshop will discuss the types of sources, how to identify if a source is credible or not, how to use direct quotes or paraphrases to have your research fit in smoothly in your speech, and how to format oral citations to identify your sources and raise your own credibility as a speaker.
