This Keep Educating Yourself Series (KEYS) workshop will cover Poetry and its ongoing relevance in the world today. We will explore poetry as a tool, as a means of expression, and as a way to capture those ceaseless internal agitations and make them, if not beautiful, at least tamer. We will practice writing poems ourselves, and we will work to demystify and engage with the genre, encountering some modern examples and understanding them in the context of poetry’s larger history.

You do not need to be a poet to appreciate or write poetry. You simply need to be human.
