Dr. Mauricio Castro of Centre College will share invaluable information about the Cuban Refugee Program and its relationship to the history of the Freedom Tower. Castro is the author of Only a Few Blocks to Cuba: Cold War Refugee Policy, the Cuban Diaspora, and the Transformations of Miami, published in 2024 by the University of Pennsylvania Press.

Light refreshments will be served.
