Join MOAD and IS Projects for an evening art making and mingling. Guest will enjoy Suminagashi Paper Marbling and Letterpress Printing with real, vintage wood type from IS Projects' antique type collection, as well as Write A Sign poster making! Participants will get to try their hand at Japanese style paper marbling using just water and ink to create intricate and unique designs. While the marbling dries, visitors can set up their own text using wood type on the vintage sign printing press then print their design onto their marbled piece! Each participant will leave with their own marbled masterpieces and authentic, hands-on insight into two huge facets of the paper and printing world.
