Come join us as we kick off Changemaker Week 2024! Our Padrón Campus changemaking festivities begin with a guest speaker,  Dr. Marie Roseline Darnycka Bélizaire. She has worked with the United Nations and for the World Health Organization Headquarters as a Senior Emergency Manager. She is a humanitarian and epidemiologist serving others on the front lines of war and disease during her 19-year career. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the UN's mission, values, and functions. Become more aware of the big initiatives that are affecting the world such as climate change, find out how you can engage with your local community and globally. At the heart of Changemaker Week will be a bustling tabling event encouraging volunteers to sign up for community outreach events and learn about recycling initiatives on campus. Finally, join us for the Parade of Purpose, a visual reminder that collective action can lead to positive change. Don’t miss this kick-off!
