Before beginning an argumentative / research paper, it is crucial that students have their main point, or argument clearly and concisely thought out. Students will learn tips and tricks to help them to create a compelling, specific, and convincing thesis statement. This workshop will also go over ways to help students structure their essays more effectively (outlining, freewriting techniques, visual Venn diagrams, etc.).
