Before beginning an argumentative or research paper, it is crucial that students have their main point, or argument clearly and concisely thought out. Students will learn tips and tricks to help them to create a compelling, specific, and convincing thesis statement. This workshop will also go over ways to help students structure their essays more effectively (outlining, freewriting techniques, visual Venn diagrams, etc.).
