While Covid-19 in many ways defined 2020, this was also a year marked by ongoing national, if not global, preoccupation with the struggle for racial justice and the challenges that it presents to both the policy and cultural dynamics of 21st century America. This panel will look into the legal, historical, as well as the grass roots legacies and contributions of African-Muslims in this struggle and the continuous national search for racial and economic justice in contemporary America.
