1780 W 49th St, Hialeah, FL 33012
This event will be environmentally driven, hoping to progress the conversation on the functionality and utilization of nature's bounty in a college space. We will be using science as well as history and culture to explain the benefits of green/sustainable living, and the perks of using natural alternatives rather than synthetic consumables.
The event begins at 11:30 and will feature several short presentations by different speakers. The topics will range from medicinal plants and uses to composting and water chemistry. Students will have the ability to study these plants, learn valuable gardening skills, and understand how different types of water can affect their environment and health.
The event will end at 1:00 pm.
