In this session, participants will learn how to create assignments in Blackboard that will automatically be checked for plagiarism as students submit their work. Plagiarism prevention tools, built right into Blackboard, will check the paper against multiple databases and return a full and complete report on the originality of the work. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn to use this quick, easy, powerful online learning tool.

After successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Create an assignment using a plagiarism prevention tool in Blackboard
  • Read the assignment originality report
  • Describe the process of creating the assignment and its settings
  • Discuss instructional design best-practices and strategies in order to enhance course content
  • Discuss best instructional practices for using the prevention tools as a teaching strategy to avoid plagiarism
