In this inspiring session, a Teacher Apprentice and their Mentor will share their personal success stories from the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Teacher Apprentice Program. The Mentor will reflect on their experiences supporting and guiding an aspiring educator throughout the school year, highlighting the impact of mentorship on professional growth and classroom readiness. The Teacher Apprentice will share their unique perspective balancing dual roles as a Miami-Dade School employee and a Miami Dade College student. Attendees will hear firsthand accounts of the responsibilities, and accomplishments that shaped their journey toward becoming an educator. Together, they will provide powerful testimonial stories illustrating the program’s value, the supportive mentor-apprentice relationship, and how this experience has prepared them for a future in education
