I AM MDC Day "Candyland" - Welcome Back Wednesday

Miami Dade College opened the door to the American Dream on Sept. 6, 1960. Every year on Sept. 6 – officially proclaimed as “I AM MDC Day” in the city of Miami and across Miami-Dade County – thousands of alumni, students, parents, friends, neighbors, faculty and staff come together to celebrate the many lives changed and MDC’s community-wide impact. Join Student Life as we celebrate Miami Dade College’s 61st Birthday! This “Candyland” Birthday Celebration will feature music, FINN, and an assortment of sweet treats. Wear blue to show your school and donate for your chance to win an “I AM MDC” door prize basket. I AM MDC Day is a day of giving and pride in our tradition of providing the opportunity of education to generations of South Floridians.

Note: We strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask at all times when inside any MDC facility and outdoors when physical distancing is not possible -- even if you are vaccinated.
