Audience: Faculty & Staff

Microsoft Teams is a digital hub that brings conversations, meetings, files, and apps together in one place. It is an excellent tool for educators to use to collaborate and communicate with colleagues in communities, networks, and groups. Because it is built on Office 365, schools benefit from integration with their familiar Office apps and services. With Microsoft Teams, an institution can create collaborative environments, connect in online professional learning spaces, or communicate with school staff – all from a single experience in Office 365 for Education. In the session, participants will engage and build an understanding of how to use Microsoft Teams with other Microsoft applications.

After successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Get started with MS Teams
  • Join an existing Team
  • Create a Team
  • Communicate in Teams using Chat, Posts, Calls, and Meetings
  • Collaborate in Teams using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and One Note

This is a self-paced, fully online workshop.

Last Enrollment Date: 12/9/21
